After seven years of waiting, The House of the Dead 4 finally hits home to the PSN with Launch Trailer

Rejoice fans as The House of the Dead 4 has finally made it to home consoles. The game is available on the PlayStation Store for only $10. However if your a PlayStation Plus member, you get a 30% discount on the game ($7 to be exact) The game features levels from The House of the Dead 4 and Special straight from the arcade version. You can use the PlayStation Move to blast through waves of evil creatures and don’t forget to bring a friend along the ride. Put an end to Goldman’s legacy and destroy the source of the creature infestation in Venice. One last thing AMS agents, don’t give up hope. Hope is such a splendid thing.

  1. It’s kind of a hollow victory, really. Slightly bitter-sweet, but at the same time joyous 🙂 The missing chapter in the HOTD series has finally come home. What kind of irritates me is why this wasn’t done sooner (HOTD4 and 4 Special came out in 2005/2006, PS3 in 2006/2007). My theory on this is that once Sega caught wind of the PS Move (released in 2010) and heard of its success, they started to work on porting it over (along with HOTD3) to the PS3… and 18 months later (Now), here’s the end result. My one comfort is that I wasn’t over-exposed to HOTD4, otherwise I’d have obsessed over a console port. I just played other rail-shooters to quench my arcade thirst. 🙂

    Thank you, Sega.
