  1. Just played through the demo and it was pretty good in my opinion. The main menu layout and options are pretty much the same as THotDIII but unlike THotDIII’s demo, you can change the game’s settings like difficulty, number of lives, credits, etc. The controls for the wireless controller are also easy to remember and are exactly like THotDIII’s controls except L2 and R2 are used to throw grenades instead of firing your weapon. You also must shake the controller when you are grabbed by an enemy or when you need to push enemies back which is a nice touch in my opinion instead of mashing buttons. Now, onto the game play itself.

From what I’ve played, the graphics seem to be right on with the arcade version but I did notice that the cut scenes sometimes suffer from slowdown but nothing too major. The demo also doesn’t allow you to choose a path to take and instead always has you go right when the part comes up and sadly, you don’t fight the first boss, JUSTICE Type 0053 in the demo version as the game immediately ends as soon as his hand grabs James and Kate and the game then proceeds to go through footage of what players will see in the full version of the game. Besides that, the demo is fun and I can’t wait for the full version to come out next week. 🙂
